ICU Assistant Manager

The Nurse Assistant Department Manager (ADM) serves as a clinical and professional role model, while fostering growth and development opportunities for staff. Effectively manages resources using the multidisciplinary approach; planning, directing, implementing and improving service. Will be required to work flexible hours to efficiently manage and communicate with staff on all shifts. Will cover for the Manager in his/her absence.

 

  • Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California or must obtain prior to commencement of employment.
  • Baccalaureate Degree or 3 years clinical experience in the area of concentration. Must obtain Baccalaureate within 3 years.
  • National certification in area of specialty or must obtain within one (1) year.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to manage clinical and personnel situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to write read and verbally communicates in English to the degree required to perform the job.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Nursing or Health Services related Baccalaureate degree and national certification in area of specialty.
  • Recent experience in the area of clinical concentration.
