Scope of Position
Recruitment and Staffing
- Develop and implement effective hiring strategies
- Conduct job interviews and make hiring decisions
- Manage onboarding processes for new employees
- Prepare/ edit/ review employee’s contract of employment
- Address employee concerns and conflicts
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
- Implement employee engagement initiatives
Performance Management
- Oversee performance appraisal processes
- Provide guidance on performance improvement plans
- Collaborate with managers for employee development
- Policy Development and Compliance
- Develop and update HR policies
- Review and update employee guidebook as necessary
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations
- Conduct regular audits to monitor policy adherence
Compensation and Benefits
- Administer salary and benefits programs
- Conduct market research for compensation benchmarks
- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits
- Training and Development
- Identify training needs within the organization
- Coordinate training programs and workshops

Required Experience
- At least 5 yrs in a similar capacity
- Confidential
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Employment Laws and Regulations
Required Education and Training
- First Degree in HR/ Business Management or any other related area
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) or HRCI's PHR (Professional in Human Resources) would be an asset
