Scope of Position
Recruitment and Staffing
  • Develop and implement effective hiring strategies
  • Conduct job interviews and make hiring decisions
  • Manage onboarding processes for new employees
  • Prepare/ edit/ review employee’s contract of employment
Employee Relations
  • Address employee concerns and conflicts
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives

Performance Management
  • Oversee performance appraisal processes
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans
  • Collaborate with managers for employee development
  • Policy Development and Compliance
  • Develop and update HR policies
  • Review and update employee guidebook as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations
  • Conduct regular audits to monitor policy adherence

Compensation and Benefits
  • Administer salary and benefits programs
  • Conduct market research for compensation benchmarks

Required Education and Training
  • First Degree in HR/ Business Management or any other related area
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) or HRCI's PHR (Professional in Human Resources) would be an asset
