Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources generalist role.
  • Prior HR experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and timekeeping software is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in human resources to enhance organizational strategies.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics, reports, and documentation to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant maintenance of personnel records, adhering to privacy, equal employment opportunity, and related regulations.
  • Support regulatory compliance by managing required postings, documentation, and employee file audits.
  • Provide expert guidance to employees and leadership on policy interpretation and administration.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support organizational design and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Handle sensitive personnel matters with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Update and refine job descriptions to reflect evolving role requirements.
  • Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless integration of new hires.
  • Oversee compliance with employment eligibility verification processes, including periodic audits of required documentation.
  • Administer the annual performance evaluation process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop talent management, staff development, and succession planning strategies.
  • Facilitate benefits enrollment sessions for new hires and during open enrollment periods.
  • Manage employee terminations and conduct exit interviews to gather actionable feedback.
  • Contribute to the creation of internal communications for office and operational staff.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including planning and coordinating workplace events.
  • Assist with logistics and coordination for safety committee meetings and periodic safety training sessions.
