Essential Job Duties
  • Completes HR transaction forms for employee movement (new hire, termination, position change, promotion, pay change, bid process, exit interviews, etc.).
  • Responds to unemployment notices/claims and provides necessary documentation.
  • Responds to miscellaneous emails from employees requesting basic HR information. programs, policies, procedures, employee benefits offerings or employee services.
  • Leads the coordination of various social events, benefit events, community events, and other related facility events.
  • Administers the full cycle leave of absence process. This includes but is not limited to, responding to vendor inquiries, reporting leave absences and return to work dates for HRIS data entry, sending benefit payment letters and collecting monies owed, sending termination letters and completing termination paperwork as applicable.
  • Coordinates and documents monthly random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Ensures compliance, completion and proper retention of I-9 documents.
  • Reports compliance issues to HR Manager.
  • Works with hiring managers on requisition job posting requests to fill all hourly positions. May help with recruitment efforts for open positions as well as coordinating interview and selections.
  • Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation.
  • Communicates and facilitates benefit information sessions and open enrollment process.
  • Regularly files HR paperwork in respective personnel files and keeps personnel files up to date.
