Large Manufacturing company located in Chelsea Michigan is looking for a Human Resource Generalist that will coordinate and execute Human Resource activities to maintain and improve functions including payroll, recruitment, policies, regulatory compliance and assist front office functions as needed.

  • Talent Development / Talent Support and Recruiting
  • Provides input to and implements the Global HR Strategy; identifies and creates processes, tools and analytics and support achievement of goals within the HR Focus areas
  • Process payroll weekly and ensure attendance policy is being followed
  • Maintain HRIS including entering new hires, payroll changes, garnishments, benefit changes, responding to employment verifications, maintaining employee files

  • Recruiting activities, including posting jobs, pre-screening, interviewing, performing reference checks and working with temporary and recruiting agencies to fill positions


Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred

  • 2+ years working as a HR Generalist in a Manufacturing Environment

  • Minimal payroll adjustments after paychecks are distributed
