This position provides a wide variety of support to the HR department and Team Members focusing on HR systems, internal recruiting, policy application and Team Member relations with respect to quality of work life.

Job Responsibility

  1. Know and understand Quality and Environmental policies.
  2. Perform other duties as required.
  3. Follows and supports and operating principles
  4. Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
  5. Safeguard all financial/personnel documents and keep all financial/personnel matters private and confidential.
  6. Ensure the effective delivery of support services for the internal posting program to include preparation of all requisitioned job opportunities, collection of applications, required testing, interviews, follow-up letters to unsuccessful candidates if required, status change paperwork etc.
  7. Preparation of presentations for Departmental meetings.
  8. Preparation of legal and Hotline packages in a timely manner.
  9. Preparation of discipline packages.
  10. Attend all necessary meetings.
  11. Track and maintain attendance records.
  12. Act as a backup for other Generalists for periods of absences.
  13. Participate in new hire orientation.
  14. Process terminations and conduct exit interviews. Ensure Team Members are properly removed from all systems.
  15. Participate in and support Company events.
  16. Assist in development and maintenance of positive employee relations strategies.
  17. Support the leadership development process. Coach and mentor Team, Area, and Department Leaders.
  18. Ensure a positive Human Resources presence by listening, responding to, directing for response, following up within 5 days, reporting as required or appropriate, all Team Member issues/concerns or any other matters that have the potential to negatively impact Team Member relations, services provided by Human Resources or the general well-being of the company.
  19. Ensure investigations are initiated, carried out thoroughly, documented and followed up with appropriate communication/documentation as required.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.
