Our client, a manufacturer located in Lexington, NC, has an immediate opening for a HR Generalist to join their team.

Qualifications Include:

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • College Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Minimum 3 years directly related to HR Department
  • Strong knowledge of HR Employment Law including but not limited to Benefits (COBRA), FMLA, EEO, ADA, Wage & Hour (FLSA), Workers Compensation, and OSHA.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Example: Ability to write reports.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.

Duties Include:

  • Provide daily support to all HR functions and responsibilities.
  • Perform written updates to Employee Handbook
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes. Review resumes, perform phone screens, and coordinate post-offer drug tests.
  • Manage Time & Attendance system
  • Assist Supervisors with Employee Reviews & Disciplinary Actions
  • Investigate & Document any Safety Accidents or Incidents
  • Co-ordinate company activities
  • Maintain LMS system
  • Complete new employee orientation and complete i9 verifications
Salary in the $30K plus range as well as excellent benefits
