Human Resource Analyst

This firm is an independent investment adviser and asset manager that provides research, advisory, and investment services. As a leader in alternatives, they work with institutional investors and investment services across the alternative investment landscape. They provide advisory services to pension funds, endowments, and foundations with over $100 billion of assets.

They are currently seeking a full-time HR Analyst for their Los Angeles office (Marina del Rey) to join their growing team of human resource professionals focused on range of human resource duties from generalist to special project management.

Duties & Responsibilities

Generalist Duties:

· Employee Relations

· Onboarding for all Interns

· First day Orientation sessions

· I-9 and OFAC verifications

· COBRA maintenance

· Monthly attendance email Excel tracking

· Per pay period report and excel tracking for new paid time off policies

· Assignment of State mandated trainings

· Payroll system management to include

o new hire registration

o profile set-up

o termination management

o attendance management

· Offboarding all Full-Time employees and Interns.

· Special projects as assigned, e.g., assist with EDI build, support the transition to a new HRIS system, and assist with new multi-state time off policies.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors’ degree or some college experience.
  • 3+ years of human resource experience
  • Candidates should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel
  • Must be accurate, efficient, organized, and detail oriented.
  • The position is located in the Los Angeles office and is offered on a hybrid work schedule.
