Marcilly Recruitment’s UHNW client is seeking an experienced and highly organised House Manager to oversee the smooth running of a private residence in Central London.
This is a full-time, permanent position suited to a proactive, discreet and polished professional with previous experience working within high-end private households.
Location: London
Salary: £55,000–£75,000 gross per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Sector: Private Household / UHNW
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm with flexibility outside core hours
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
The House Manager will be responsible for the overall management and organisation of the residence, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained at all times.
Duties will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the household
- Managing household staff and external contractors
- Scheduling maintenance and ensuring the property is impeccably maintained
- Managing household budgets and overseeing expenditure
- Acting as the main point of contact for the principals
- Coordinating occasional events and entertaining
- Managing inventories, supplies and service contracts
- Upholding strict discretion and confidentiality at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a House Manager within a UHNW private residence
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Financially literate and confident managing household budgets
- Discreet, professional and calm under pressure
- Flexible and hands-on when required
- Based in London or able to commute easily
