Job Description

A rural, community-focused hospital ~40 miles north of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a BC/BE Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients.

Position Highlights:

Provide direct inpatient care to adult patients
Manage episodic and chronic conditions, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
Provide internal medicine consultations
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and safety initiatives
Contribute to continuing education and professional development
Utilize current CPT/ICD-10 coding practices
Work in a 60+bed rural community hospital

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Current, valid North Carolina medical license or eligibility
Sufficient clinical knowledge and experience to meet institutional standards of care
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
