Salary: $416,000–$520,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the hospitalist team to ensure high quality care and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with hospital administration and medical leadership to establish and achieve program goals.
- Engage directly in patient care in a hospitalist capacity, modeling best practices in clinical procedures.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure patient safety in all aspects of the hospitalist program.
- Uphold and enforce compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a hospitalist setting.
- Proven ability to manage clinical teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for interacting with staff, patients, and administration.
- Commitment to staying informed on current medical procedures and practices in hospital medicine.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Program Director or in a similar leadership role within a hospitalist program.
- Experience in clinical protocol development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Expertise in patient care management and team leadership.
