THE OPPORTUNITY
A 288-bed acute care facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to serve as Facility Medical Director for their Hospital Medicine program. This leadership role combines clinical practice with administrative oversight of a well-established hospitalist team.
The facility offers comprehensive services including cardiac care with open heart surgery, orthopedics, oncology, and emergency services. Located just 25 miles south of Charlotte, NC, this position offers the best of both worlds - small-city living with big-city amenities nearby.

THE ROLE
- Clinical shifts plus administrative leadership duties
- Oversee hospitalist program operations and quality metrics
- Collaborate with hospital administration and medical staff
- Lead recruitment and retention efforts
- EMR: Cerner
- Support from experienced APP team
REQUIREMENTS
- MD/DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Minimum 2 years hospitalist experience preferred
- Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
- South Carolina license or ability to obtain
