Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union has retained Community Resources to assist with the search for a Home Equity Loan Specialist.

The Home Equity Loan Specialist is responsible for processing, coordinating, and closing Home Equity Loans and Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs) while delivering exceptional service to members. Reporting to the Chief Lending Officer, this position manages the loan process from application through closing and supports ongoing servicing of home equity accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Home Equity Loan and HELOC applications from initial inquiry through underwriting and closing.
  • Prepare and coordinate pre-closing and closing documentation.
  • Review title reports, order flood certifications and appraisals, and ensure all loan requirements are met.
  • Prepare loan closing packages, Deeds of Trust, and related documents.
  • Conduct loan closings with members and disburse funds.
  • Handle subordinations, satisfactions, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with title companies and government agencies to ensure timely and accurate recording of documents.
  • Maintain loan files and ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in home equity lending, mortgage lending, loan processing, or a related financial services role.
  • Knowledge of loan documentation, title reviews, and closing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional participation in community events.
