JOB SUMMARY

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Highway Maintenance Technician to perform mowing and routine maintenance operations in the Okeechobee County area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

SALARY

$16-$17/hr - commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform highway maintenance duties such as:
  • mowing
  • routine maintenance operations
  • litter removal
  • occasional small sign repairs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Roadway maintenance experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED
  
• MOT Certifications preferred
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
• Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
