Heavy Equipment Mechanic

About the Company:

Our client is a leading provider of battery recycling solutions throughout North America. They are growing their team at a rapid pace and are seeking to add a certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic to their dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts (gas, diesel, and electric) and other heavy equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
• Replace or repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components
• Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical drawings
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must possess prior experience working as a heavy equipment or forklift mechanic
• Possess strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
