Supervisor, Health & Safety

📍 Location: Victorville, CA

We are searching for a Health & Safety Supervisor for our client. Are you a safety leader ready to make a real impact? This role is designed for someone passionate about driving compliance, safety culture, and hands-on engagement to ensure a zero-incident workplace.

🔑 What You’ll Do

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA, and MSHA regulations while protecting the health and wellbeing of all employees and site visitors.
  • Maintain and update site-specific health and safety policy manuals.
  • Develop, deliver, and track safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Conduct incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage transitional duty/medical management programs and assist with Workers’ Compensation processes.
  • Act as the primary representative during safety-related regulatory inspections.
  • Support leadership with safety initiatives, audits, and proactive compliance activities.
  • Oversee contractor safety management, including prequalification, orientation, and compliance oversight.
  • Actively participate in plant-wide and departmental safety meetings.
  • Promote safety awareness, visibility, and accountability across all levels of staff.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of health and safety experience in manufacturing, mining, or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations.
  • Safety certifications (CSP, CIH, CMSP, CDS) are a plus.

💵 Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $85,400 – $106,200 and variable compensation of 10%.
