Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President of non-asset-based transportation provider that built a strong reputation in the market through its service intensity and agility, deep network footprint, established market expertise, and highly efficient technology and processes.
The Head of Recruitment and Training will serve as a vital member of the leadership team of the organization, overseeing all recruiting efforts, training and development strategy, and marketing strategy. Will lead recruiting department by designing and implementing new recruiting programs, goals, and achievement standards. In addition, will create and implement training and development process for all Sales and Operations personnel. Will guide marketing, social media, and branding efforts to enhance the recruitment and training agendas. Will lead a team of dedicated recruiters and marketing coordinators. This role is expected to promote an active learning environment throughout the recruiting training department and all onboarding and sales training programs across multiple locations.

Background Required:
- Recruiting experience in logistics or similar field (6+ years)
- Proven results creating and managing a candidate pipeline for multiple openings & full cycle recruiting
- Experience implementing training curricula and framework including prospecting, negotiating, customer onboarding, account penetration, and pipeline management
- Ongoing evaluation and enhancement of training needs
- Strong selling skills and ability to develop and execute business plan strategies
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Education: College Graduate
- Residence: Indianapolis, IN OR Chattanooga, TN
- Experience in Digital Marketing, Branding, and Social Media
- Knowledge of 3PL, freight brokerage, transportation management industries
- Multi-location support and management
- Travel: 10%
