Position Responsibilities:

• Take on the responsibilities of Eng #1 in a start-up environment. Lead and manage all internal technical operations, including software development, security, compliance, dev ops and administration.
• Co-own and shape the strategy for the entire technology stack, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Design, document, develop, and maintain robust, high-quality solutions.
• Manage and support a variety of apps and processes, including our mobile application, web application, .net backend, Azure operations, and data science tools (Fivetran, Snowflake, Sigma, etc).
• Maintain and improve existing production services and infrastructure, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement at all levels.
• Manage internal and external software developers to deliver new features and ensure ongoing success.
• Support tasks that only engineers can do, e.g. data cleansing, file uploads and processing, internal integrations with other software (Braze, HubSpot, Sigma, etc), and external integrations with health plans for data transfer.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our digital health solutions with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to provide technical expertise and support in solution and product development.
• Monitor technical operations to ensure delivery of SLAs, including monitoring and responding at night and on weekends for severe issues as needed.

Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in:
• Mobile UI (Flutter)
• C# up and down the technology stack
• REST API development, ASP.NET, and business logic
• SQL including transactional databases, ORMs, and data warehouses
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure App Services, Application Gateway, Front Door, Storage Containers (BLOB and file shares), Container Instances, and Azure Storage.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in Azure, such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
• Experience in database design and application of data integrity principals, as well as managing and configuring ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in implementing and strategizing unit and integration testing.
• Ability to create and maintain a process for iteration and quality appropriate for a startup that emphasizes speed, transparency, and alignment while not bogging down the process with un-needed checks and balances or documentation.
• Experience developing and maintaining security postures including SOC2 and HIPAA.
• Experience in managing, hiring, and scaling a team in an early-stage startup environment.
