Overview

A fast-scaling AI and edge-compute security technology company is looking for a Hardware Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle of its intelligent devices—ranging from video analytics gateways to edge sensors and integrated access control hardware. This is a hands-on role with cross-functional visibility, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, customer insight, and go-to-market execution.

What You’ll Do

• Own the roadmap for all hardware products, from concept to end-of-life

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain on product development, testing, and delivery

• Gather feedback from customers, integrators, and the field to shape future features and improvements

• Drive hardware certifications, compliance, and reliability standards across devices

• Support product marketing and sales with technical documentation, training, and enablement materials

• Monitor product performance, cost, and margin targets

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years in hardware product management or embedded systems development

• Experience with physical security, IoT, or edge devices preferred

• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, sourcing, and manufacturing coordination

• Technical acumen—able to work with engineers on board-level and firmware-level conversations

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Familiarity with compliance requirements in hardware (FCC, NDAA, UL, etc.) is a plus
