Job Description
Responsibilities
- The HSE / PSM Manager will lead the Site in the HSE/PSM Culture in the drive to zero injuries and incidents. Define the necessary indicator for moving the culture to the excellence.
- Support the operational leaders in HSE/ PSM aspects. Lead the coordination of their standards.
- Manage and Lead Federal, State, and Local Security Programs.
- Oversee and Direct Emergency Response activities to ensure proper training and readiness for both internal and external first responders at all sites.
- Lead the Site in setting direction and content of HSE & PSM programs, training, trend analysis, and best practices rollouts.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of direct reports with the goal of eliminating injuries and environmental hazardous materials releases.
- Relocation provided. $130K-$140K.
- The HSE / PSM Manager will have a BS degree with a relevant major. Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, CCPSC, ISO Auditor) are pluses.
- OSHA/ Country Standards – Safety and Health, PSM Regulations – Process Safety Standards, US Homeland Security Standards and Applications, HazMat Regulations and Compliance, PVC MACT Regulations and Compliance
- 5+ years in various aspects of Process Safety and Environmental Management.
- 10+ years of plant experience in support of chemical / hazardous materials operations as a team leader with excellent ability to communicate and cooperate with both internal and external personnel.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
