We are searching for a Human Resources Supervisor to join our client's growing team.

Basic responsibilities of the HR Supervisor include:
  • Full scope of oversight and compliance in HR functions related to hiring, HR team development, compensation & benefits administration, HR metrics & analysis, project management, teammate relations, labor laws and regulations including Affirmative Action reporting, interpretation of personnel policies (i.e. sick leave, disability, FMLA, etc.) and efforts leading product group alignment
  • Work closely with leadership team providing counsel and guidance regarding policies, procedures, state and federal regulatory compliance requirements, disciplinary decisions, language, and actions
  • Work to develop goals that support business strategy along with continuous improvement, crating an inclusive environment for generating innovative ideas, and respecting and valuing the diversity of the team
  • Supervisor for 3 divisions and will require 20-25% travel
Qualifications for the position include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 5+ years HR experience
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Working knowledge of employment, benefits and payroll laws and regulations
  • Ability to lead and uphold safety policies, procedures and housekeeping standards to make safety the top priority at all times
  • Exhibits integrity and confidentiality and promotes personal responsibility and accountability
  • Influences others in a positive direction at all times to achieve success in accomplishing division and company goals and objectives, including a commitment to cost reduction, product quality, productivity and customer service excellence
  • Develops trust and respect of others, gives clear direction, provides tools and resources, provides feedback, coaches to improve, motivate and empower employees
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively lead meetings and give presentations
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to stay focused on long-term projects
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Master's Degree in HR, Business or related field
  • 5+ years HR Generalist experience in manufacturing environment
  • PHR or SHRM Certification
