Who You’ll Work With

You’ll collaborate closely with the Sr. HR Generalist and CHRO, supporting an energetic and diverse workforce. This role is all about people-first HR, helping employees thrive in a creative and fast-moving production environment.

What You’ll Do

✅ HR Operations & Employee Support

• Be the go-to HR resource for our amazing team members.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and process all employee changes (new hires, terminations, LOAs).
• Support timekeeping accuracy, payroll administration, and benefits inquiries.

✅ Talent & Hiring

• Recruit and onboard hourly employees, including working with temp agencies.
• Facilitate internal job promotions and interviews.
• Lead new hire orientations, ensuring every employee feels welcomed from day one.

✅ Employee Engagement & Development

• Help coordinate fun employee events and engagement initiatives.
• Track and monitor attendance, coaching employees and supervisors as needed.
• Support career development efforts to help our people grow.

✅ Compliance & HR Administration

• Assist with background checks, drug screens, and E-Verify/I-9 compliance.
• Support FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Comp, and other leave management.
• Ensure compliance with Chicago ordinances, state, and federal labor laws.
• Help maintain employee records, safety compliance, and HR reporting.

What Makes You a Great Fit

✔ 3+ years of HR experience (manufacturing, retail, or production experience a plus).
✔ Bachelor’s degree required (HR certifications are a bonus!).
✔ Bilingual in Cantonese or Spanish? That’s a huge advantage!
✔ Strong interpersonal skills—you enjoy connecting with employees at all levels.
✔ Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
✔ High integrity and ability to handle confidential HR matters with professionalism.
