Fusion Recruiters is partnering with Justrite Safety Group in their search for a Human Resources Advisor to join their team at Global Spill & Safety in Melbourne, Australia.
The HR Advisor will serve as a strategic and hands-on leader, supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and offboarding. This role will work closely with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and company growth. This role will report bilaterally to the US HR Manager and the Australian Managing Directors.

What You’ll Do at Justrite:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for key positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure timely hiring of top talent.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new employees.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing coaching and conflict resolution as needed.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and corrective actions.
- Conduct employee investigations and handle disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legal and operational changes.
- Support HR reporting and analytics, leveraging data for decision-making and workforce planning.
Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, pulse surveys, and culture-building efforts.
- Partner with leadership to implement DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives.
- Foster an open, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
Compensation, Benefits & Offboarding
- Assist with compensation reviews, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
- Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews, documentation, and compliance procedures.
Your Skills and Expertise:
To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, fast-paced, or high-growth environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems, data analysis, and reporting.

- Ability to partner with business leaders to drive HR initiatives and workforce strategies.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Willingness to travel by automobile and air 20% of the time
