Job Description

Our client is a leading independent pharmaceutical company, with its head office based in Europe, and has offices in 149 countries across the
globe. They are recruiting for an experienced HR Officer to join their Johannesburg office on a 6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compensation and benefit administration and coordination
  • Producing remuneration statements
  • End to end payroll administration – Process the entire payroll from putting to reconciling on SAGE 300 people payroll
  • Manage an end-to-end salary survey process (Towers Watson and Deloitte salary survey)
  • Calculate and finalize salary increases and incentive bonuses, obtain approvals and implement
  • Maintain accurate updated paper and electronic files and records for easy retrieval and ensure the two systems interfaces accurately.
  • Responsible for ensuring company operates within labour legislation requirements
  • Leave Administration
  • UIF (Maternity Leave) and Workman compensation Claims
  • Manage employment equity, provide WPS statistics and B-BBEE administrations
  • Administer of YDR reporting and identification of training needs
  • Preparation of Company Campaign Plan (HR Recruitment Plan)
  • Administer admin of promotions and talent management (e.g Cdp, CVs and addendums)
  • Administrations and documenting of Disciplinary hearings or performance reviews
  • Custodian of company policies – maintain accurate, updated electronic files on Box and recording for easy retrieval
  • Provide input into. Co-ordinate departmental budgets as required
  • Contributes to managing cost efficiencies through the department budgets
  • Responsible for the project management of office moves (internal and external moves) and office renovations
  • Relocation administration
  • Facilitate request from auditors
Minimum Requirements:
  • Microsoft Office knowledge including specifically MS Excel
  • Good knowledge of the Sage 300 payroll system
  • Good understanding of BBBEE and transformation

Market related, based on the level of experience

Working Hours: 08h00 - 17h00, Monday to Friday

Starting date: Asap

Location: Gauteng – Johannesburg
