Russ Hadick & Associates have partnered with a Columbus, OH Construction Management at Risk and CM Agency firm. The HR and Talent Manager is responsible for overseeing a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and training. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all team member-related matters, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to problem-solving, leveraging strong decision-making skills, discretion, and organizational knowledge to facilitate HR processes while maintaining confidentiality.
Duties
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Develop and implement performance management systems, supporting managers in goal setting and performance evaluations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, coordinating with vendors and communicating options to team members.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and metrics on HR activities to inform leadership decisions.
- Build strategic and positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
- Proven ability to research, analyze, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience using HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Pay: $50,884.00 - $60,000.00 per year
