What You'll Do:
As a core member of the leadership team, the HR Manager will:
- Champion and lead change management initiatives across the organization
- Build, shape, and strengthen the workplace culture with a focus on retention, coaching, and employee engagement
- Implement and refine HR processes, policies, and structure to support plant operations
- Lead hiring and disciplinary processes with a strategic, solution-oriented mindset
- Take ownership of union relations—interacting daily with union representatives and playing a lead role in collective agreement negotiations
- Foster a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment, rooted in best practices and strong communication
Who You Are:
You’re not afraid of tough conversations. You know how to pick your battles—and you know when to stand your ground. You're a natural problem-solver with a deep understanding of HR practices in a unionized, blue-collar manufacturing setting. You are hands-on, proactive, and capable of building trust and credibility at all levels of the organization—from the shop floor to the boardroom.
