A growing LNG company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its expanding team in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with employees and managers and wants to be part of an organization experiencing significant growth.

The HR Generalist will support a broad range of HR functions and serve as a go-to resource for employees and managers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, building relationships, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact through strong HR support.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
• Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and workplace concerns.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire activities.
• Assist with benefits, leave, payroll-related questions, and other employee needs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, compliance, and other HR programs.
• Help support employee engagement and company-wide HR initiatives.
• Partner with the HR team on process improvements and special projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Strong employee relations and HR operations experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
• Experience in LNG, energy, oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, or another industrial environment is a plus.
