We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Human Resources Generalist to join our team on-site in Lombard, Illinois. This individual will support a variety of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and help foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.

  • Act as a trusted HR contact for Spanish- and English-speaking employees, ensuring clear communication across HR-related topics.

  • Administer company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and documenting outcomes.

  • Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate records in the HRIS and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant.

  • Coordinate benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee questions.

  • Help plan and execute employee engagement events and training programs.

  • Generate HR reports and metrics for internal stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role.

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written) is required.

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment law.

  • Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, BambooHR) preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism with sensitive information.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.

  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or similar environments with a bilingual workforce.

  • Conflict resolution or mediation training is a plus.
