HR Generalist
The HR Generalist will proactively work with employees and managers to achieve the business goals and execute the functional responsibilities of a progressive Human Resources Department.
Job Duties:
- Assists HR Manager with Payroll and Timekeeping through ADP Workforce Now platform.
- Assists HR Manager with the coordination of annual employee benefit implementation & enrollment; works closely with carriers & brokers throughout the process
- Collaborates with local employment contracting agencies and assist with the recruiting process as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers while engaging in interviews and assist in extending offers of employment to selected candidates as directed.
- Issue employee badges to incoming employees and enter information into HRIS
- Conduct new hire orientation & initial OSHA trainings.
- Coordinate monthly OSHA training with outside training facilitator.
- Maintain Employee Quality and OSHA training records in HRIS.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations when required..
- Maintain knowledge of HR Compliance, trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Tracking of employee incentives and attendance notifications
- Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job.

- Keep private and sensitive data within HR department or appropriate management and consistently maintain confidentiality where required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical & problem solving skills.
- Familiarity of employment-related laws and regulations such as E-Verify, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, Worker’s Comp, OSHA & EEOC & OSHA reporting)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook & related programs.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Previous working knowledge of ADP or an ATS system, required
- Previous knowledge of Employee benefits & implementation practices
- Self-motivated, innovative, practical, adaptable and able to work independently as well as a team.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English language
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, not eligible for VISA sponsorship
Education & Experience:
- Associates degree in Human Resources or relative years of work experience, preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience, required
- ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Regular attendance is mandatory and must follow all work safety programs
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
