The position plays a key role in our People efforts. As a champion of the company culture and values, the position drives the company’s People strategies and shows passion for partnering with our leaders to grow our business. This position is a full time, exempt position that reports to the Executive Vice President/CFO and works in partnership with the CEO and other senior managers within the company.

  • Oversee key people processes and HR transactions such as onboarding, exits, performance management, compensation and bonus administration, flexible work arrangements, workers’ compensation claims, and efforts related to the employee engagement.
  • Work with managers and employees to address and resolve employee relations issues and concerns, including taking corrective action and conducting internal investigations as needed.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to the senior management team on the People strategy to deliver business results.
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of programs and initiatives, including employee engagement, total rewards, performance management, diversity and inclusion, workplace flexibility, diversity and wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain working knowledge of federal and state employment laws to reduce risk and ensure compliance

  • Thorough understanding of human resources principles and practices, including employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to the senior management team.
  • Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive HR management experience in a manufacturing organization required; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performance teams and fostering an inclusive culture.
  • Experience in building an HR department a plus
  • Experience processing payroll & 401k administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to write, develop and deliver successful presentations and facilitate trainings to individuals and groups at all levels of an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience with talent management, total rewards, employee relations, researching and applying federal and state employment laws, training and HR systems.
  • Able to handle confidential material and sensitive situations in a reliable manner
