POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Position is responsible for delivering HR programs, processes, policies and services to all Corporate employees by identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing relevant HR initiatives that support a motivated and directed workforce enabling the business to function effectively and fulfill the needs of the organization. This is a hands-on role based in our Chicago facility. The responsibilities will vary from strategic program implementations to hands on transactional and operational activities, with a constant eye on relentless continuous improvement. The successful individual will be expected to provide experience and knowledge concerning HR best practices and ensure internal processes adhere to company standards.
Leads all aspect of corporate human resources including, but not limited to employee relations, talent management,
recruiting, onboarding, leadership development, training, and internal equity for all corporate employees.
Drive process creation and improvement activities.
Provide and analyze relevant HR data to enable decision making.
Develop and maintain solutions, programs and policies as required.
Own various reporting requirements including but not limited to SOX, budgeting and tax reporting.
Manage employee relations issues, conflict resolution and internal investigations as needed.
Support leaders through coaching and development opportunities.

Provide support in matters related to short and long -term disability, workers compensation, tuition assistance, etc.
Ensures integrity of HRIS, internal equity and other HR programs as needed.

BA/BS in Business or Human Resources
At least 5-10 years of hands-on HR experience experience leading plans in a complex, multi-location large organization.
Previous plant HR experience required.
HR professional certification desired
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong customer-service orientation; excellent communication and decision-making skills
High level of acumen relating to employee relations and conflict resolution
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated experience managing internal control processes or experience with ISO programs
Superior oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrable influencing and leadership skills
Poised, confident presenter of complex information
Thorough knowledge of business analytical processes, personal productivity tools and other enabling skills
