Our client is seeking to HR Business Support Specialist in Georgetown for a period of 6 months.

Job Summary:
As HR Business Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing human resources and administration services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, and records management. The selected candidate will partner with Line Managers to develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending appropriate courses of action, assisting in the coordination of HR services. You will identify and clarify problems, evaluate, recommend and implement solutions, and provide guidance to improve employee relations. The incumbent maintains complete confidentiality concerning the activities of the Department.
Job Requirements:
- Service Delivery: Ensures the delivery of a range of HR support and internal consultancy services, inclusive of employee services, recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, payroll administration, performance management, and records management, to assigned areas, consistent with HR Policies and Guidelines, Service Level Agreements and corporate objectives. Assists with manpower budgeting and employee engagement.
- Operational Effectiveness: Ensures effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards achieving operational goals and standards, as well as budgetary compliance.
- Employee Engagement: Actively supports the implementation and rollout of Employee Engagement initiatives of the organization. Facilitates active engagement and communication with and to staff members, fostering an environment of team and shared values.
- Reporting: Ensures the delivery of accurate and timely operational and other reports, with a view to supporting effective data analysis and decision making.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or a Social Science (from an accredited institution)
- Minimum of three (3) years’ of end-to-end HR experience at an operational level.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and in particular, MS Word and MS Excel.
Job Skills:
- You must have operational exposure to a wide range of HR and general business disciplines.
- Competence in compensation management and industrial relations will also be an asset.
- Effective team management skills, with excellent understanding of best practice HR Management theories.
- Must be business oriented, have good understanding of business requirements.
- Must be used to working in a time sensitive, fast paced working environment.
- Be diplomatic and discrete with the ability to handle highly sensitive matters in a highly confidential manner.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organization.
