leading global (Digital Forensic Intelligence) firm

The HR Business Partner will lead, develop, and carry out best practices HR initiatives, projects and programs, in order to support the company’s growth, employee development and retention of talent in assigned business units.

Hybrid: Only candidates from the DC, Maryland or Virginia area will be considered

(Will need to commute into our local DC office 3 days a week)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance to company leaders on employment and employee relations issues including company policies and procedures, terms of employment and employment legislation
  • Be an active change agent striving to find best solutions and best practice HR procedures and programs
  • Implement recruitment strategy so that the company attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives
  • Effectively partner with Talent Acquisition team on the selection process, from raising the requisition, advertising jobs and supporting hiring managers in the interview process
  • Support a high-quality New Employee Orientation (NEO) onboarding process, employee performance and development, talent management and retention, and other internal HR processes.
  • Coach managers on their leadership and managerial skills
  • Manage the development and training of managers and employees. Identify training needs and skills gaps and deliver training programs

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5 + years of HR generalist or HRBP experience with a for-profit company
  • Experience working for a company offering (SaaS, Hi-Tech, cyber security, digital forensics or Artificial Intelligence solutions) (open to discussion)
  • Experience collaborating with teams globally (huge plus)
  • Experience supporting hundreds of people or more (in an HR capacity) (open to discussion)
  • Ideally, will live or relocate to the greater (DC, Virginia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey) areas or live close to those areas (*Relocation assistance offered*)

Additional Experience

  • Experience working with multiple business leaders in a complex and fast paced, growing business environment.
  • Strong business partnering skills, including problem solving skills and coaching skills
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organizational compliance as it relates to federal, state and local laws
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, human resources or another relevant field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation

  • 125k - 130k Base Salary
  • 10k Bonus (paid annually)
  • Strong 401k match
