HIM Director - CLOSED

Vibrant critical access hospital located in the central Midwest, has an immediate opportunity for a HIM Director (due to retirement). The position is responsible for managing the organizational and administrative operations of the HIM department and the HIPAA compliance program. Oversight of 7 staff members and still does some inpatient coding. Reports to the CFO.

The ideal candidate should have at minimum an Associate's Degree in HIM or related discipline, RHIT or RHIA certification and prior management experience. ICD10-CM, PCS and PCT coding credentials preferred.
