JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Grinder Operator in Aiken, SC.

Responsibilities of a Grinder Operator includes:

• Be familiar with plant machinery
• Be familiar with machine processes
• Produce required quality parts within the customer specifications
• Operate a forklift in a safe manner as required
• Safely operate a crane in a safe manner as required
• Perform tool changes on machinery as required
• Perform manual lifting as required
• Perform shipping and receiving functions as required
• Be able to use computer software as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management of the department

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• 1 - 3 years related experience
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations.
• Strong math and computer skills required, blueprint reading preferred but not necessary.
• Forklift Operator license required.
• Excellent organization, time, management, and attention to detail skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
