Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and hands-on Exhibit Designer & Fabrication Specialist to join our team. This role combines graphic design, large-format production, and physical fabrication of custom trade show displays, signage, and branded environments. The ideal candidate will not only design visually compelling displays but also operate production equipment and assemble finished products for events and installations.

This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys both creative design work and working with their hands to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative

  • Design custom trade show booths, point-of-sale displays, signage, and branded environments

  • Create large-format graphics for print, events, and interior/exterior applications

  • Develop layout concepts, production-ready artwork, and structural display mockups

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to translate client needs into visual solutions

  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials

Production & Equipment Operation

  • Operate large-format printers, plotters, laminators, cutting tables, CNC routers, or similar production equipment

  • Prepare press-ready and machine-ready files for fabrication

  • Trim, mount, laminate, and finish printed graphics

  • Perform quality checks on all produced materials

Fabrication & Assembly

  • Build and assemble custom display structures and signage

  • Measure, cut, and construct components using appropriate tools and materials

  • Install graphics onto various substrates

  • Pack, transport, install, and dismantle trade show booths and displays

  • Ensure all projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards

Event & Installation Support

  • Assist with on-site setup and teardown for trade shows and special events

  • Troubleshoot display or installation issues as needed

  • Handle materials and equipment with care

  • Lift and move materials up to 75–100 lbs as required

Qualifications

  • Experience in graphic design, exhibit design, sign production, or related field

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience operating large-format printing or fabrication equipment preferred

  • Strong understanding of print production and file setup

  • Ability to read measurements and work with construction tools

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for installations

Preferred Experience

  • Trade show or exhibit production

  • Sign fabrication or environmental graphics

  • Experience with CNC or cutting systems

  • Knowledge of various display materials and substrates
