Graphic Designer

Local company looking for a The Graphic Designer that can also help assemble created products. Individual should be physically capable to help with the set up of design items.

Essential Duties

• Design marketing material including but not limited to:
  • Print advertisements
  • Sales literature
  • Brochures
  • Direct mail
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Trade show and point-of-sale displays
  • Interior and exterior signage
  • Special event graphics
  • Invitations
• Resize and submit press-ready print advertisements to domestic and international trade publications.
• Resize and submit digital advertisements to domestic and international advertising channels.
• Design digital graphics for videos, email marketing campaigns, and social media channels.
• Assist in the production of short-form video footage for use on social media channels.
• Design internal employee communications.
• Create and/or update employee business cards.
• Enhance and maintain company image library; photography and photo direction.
• Complete press-ready file preparation, press checks, and vendor communication for offset and digitally printed material.
• Responsible for installing and dismantling pipe/drape, tables, chairs, carpet, displays, signs, and other equipment as requested by the customer for trade shows, expositions, or other special events. Crew members have the responsibility to ensure events are set up and dismantled to meet strict deadlines and that equipment is handled with care.
• Ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 100lbs.

Education & Experience

• BA in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field
• Minimum 4+ years advertising or graphic design industry experience
• Spector Works is a plus
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (CC): Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Must possess a thorough understanding of press-ready artwork, offset (press) and digital printing processes
• Must be creative, organized, extremely detail oriented, and accurate
• Must be able to multi-task, problem solve, complete deadline-specific tasks, and willing to proactively take on new challenges
