APN Staffing is now accepting resumes for a Grants Analyst 2 for our client the State of Tennessee. This is a Hybrid position and must be available to report to the office at minimum 1 or 2 days per more or more as needed.

Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Tennessee. This is a long term contract position until May of 2024 - office hours are (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) Monday-Friday

Hourly rate of pay is $26.75 an hour -


This position reports to the Division’s Grants Manager and will maintain a portfolio of grants and contracts, including federal, state, and local funding. The position will prepare status reports for grants, contracts, and budgets. Maintaining knowledge of grants and contracts and respective budgets to assist in compliance with finance and administrative guidelines, deadlines, and audits is a core function of the position. This position will assist with budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and preparing and monitoring contracts. The position will also identify and develop strategies to optimize the grants administration process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain grant monitoring procedures and processes
Monitor and report on grants to the state and on grants from the state to other entities
Prepare reports and maintain databases relative to grant development and administration
Train staff on grants management and reporting requirements
Provide consultation and technical assistance to internal and external staff, contractors, and subcontractors of grants and cooperative agreements

REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated knowledge of grant management cycle from application submission to submitting the final reports
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and lay audiences
Demonstrated exceptional inter-personal skills
Adaptable to various competing demands, actively seeks next challenge and proposes solutions
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of consistently meeting performance metrics and deadlines
Advanced abilities with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Strong ability to contribute positively to a team-based environment
Excellent collaboration and facilitation, reporting and presentation skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to five years of full-time grants management, grant analytics, or grants administration experience
