This role will be responsible for:

Maximizing trading opportunities within an assigned territory to drive superior profits.
Developing a deep understanding of market factors and commodity pricing movements.
Collaborating with traders and management to communicate critical market information.
Ensuring cost-effective and efficient transportation of commodities.
Maintaining the company’s reputation by fostering strong customer and supplier relationships.
Supervising support staff to ensure seamless execution of contracts.

Expectations will include:

Adhering to company policies, procedures, and trading rules without exception.
Successfully operating within defined position limits while accurately reporting trading results.
Championing a strong safety culture across the organization.
Continuously analyzing market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:

A bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
2–4+ years of experience in commodity trading.
A proven ability to navigate commodity, futures, and cash markets.
Strong understanding of grain flows, freight markets, and market opportunities.
Exceptional communication skills and a positive, motivational attitude.
A demonstrated ability to build and manage professional relationships with customers and teams.

Compensation: $100,000 range
