Grain Merchandiser - Kansas

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Grain Merchandiser to manage commodity origination, marketing and grain accounting in Kansas. This role is critical to building and maintaining customer relationships, executing trades, and achieving profitability goals through effective grain marketing and risk management strategies.

What you will be doing:

• Originating and marketing grain from farmers while maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Buying and selling a variety of grain products.
• Overseeing logistics for all shipments, including freight management.
• Managing accounting functions for the grain department, working closely with the CFO to track margins and profitability.
• Traveling to grain facilities to ensure operational success and customer satisfaction.
• Developing merchandising plans and hedging strategies to maximize profitability.
• Ensuring consistent compliance with ethical principles and company policies.

A successful candidate for this Grain Merchandiser role will possess the following:

Compensation:

• Salary: $95,000 to $120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
