Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Managing Executive Officer of HQ in Japan and President & CEO of Americas Region. Our client has 80+ years’ experience providing customized logistics solutions combining the latest technology and high-quality service. Their global network offers a multi-mode global forwarding suite of services spanning over 700 locations in 47 countries.
The Global Sales Manager - Semiconductor will be responsible for securing and managing new customer business in air, ocean, warehousing/distribution, trucking & 3PL services within the high tech / semiconductor vertical. Will be tasked with achieving revenue targets by securing business with new global customers and selling additional services to current global customers. Responsibility includes developing strong C-Level relationships with target customers and providing expertise in the assigned vertical to share with other members of our client’s team.

Background Required:
- Significant sales experience within the freight forwarding / logistics sector (7+ yrs)
- Multiple existing client relationships within the high tech / semiconductor vertical
- Demonstrated track record of sales success
- Complex supply chain solutions including transportation, warehousing, distribution & reverse logistics
- Knowledge of major trade lanes (Asia-pacific, trans-Atlantic, India)
- Strong negotiation skills – ability to negotiate global contracts & processes
- Ability to travel within assigned territory 40%
- Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marketing, business administration or economics
- Residence: East Coast, USA
- Freight forwarding operations
- Advanced Degree –MBA
- “Hunter” mentality
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to understand, develop and maintain multi-cultural relationships
