Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP and GM’s of our client’s Corporate Sales HQ. Our client has 80+ years’ experience providing customized logistics solutions combining the latest technology and high-quality service. Their global network offers a multi-mode global forwarding suite of services spanning over 700 locations in 47 countries.
The Global Sales Manager - Pharma will be responsible for securing and managing new customer business in air, ocean, warehousing/distribution, trucking & 3PL services within the Healthcare & Pharma vertical. Will be tasked with achieving revenue targets by securing business with new global customers in the vertical and selling additional services to current global customers. · Responsibility includes developing strong C-Level relationships with target customers and providing expertise in the assigned vertical to share with other members including GDP, GMP, DX and Cold Chain Solutions.

Background Required:
  • Significant experience in sales & marketing within the freight forwarding / logistics sector (7+ yrs)
  • Have multiple existing client relationships within the Pharma vertical
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Complex supply chain solutions including transportation, warehousing, distribution & reverse logistics
  • Significant experience in sales staff development and training
  • Experience in general management concepts: planning, accounting, administration & economics
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory 50%
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marketing, business administration or economics
  • Residence: greater Chicago, IL (relocation assistance provided)

  • Bi-Lingual: English & Japanese
  • Advanced Degree –MBA
