Global Product Manager Analytical Sensors

Essential Duties

  • Define, verify & lead main product directions & product family strategies of our next generation analytical sensors: Conductivity, pH/ORP, Chlorine, DO, Turbidity etc.
  • Own new product lines from the very first stage until market release and beyond.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the long-term strategies for the Measurement & Control portfolio, which is a part of our Process Automation product range
  • Develop deep understanding of the industry requirements and translate customer needs into an innovative product portfolio together with peer product managers and the innovation department
  • Continuous market and competitor analysis
  • Ensure product portfolio is fit for the market (performance, applications, connectivity, digital aspects, user experience)
  • Be a global product ambassador promoting our existing solutions & learn about customer requirements first-hand provide product and application support to assist with driving sales
  • Support global strategic marketing campaigns

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Business field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a product or portfolio manager with a focus on Process Automation
  • Experience with pH, ORP, Oxygen and Conductivity measurements a plus
  • Understanding of the global Measurement & Control market with a focus on the USA, EU & China in terms of main players & technology trends
  • Industrial background (marketing/sales/product management) in the field of industrial water treatment or wet chemical process industries
  • Experience with Digital Field Connectivity Standards such as Industrial Ethernet (Profinet, Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP) or IO-Link a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Well experienced to work across teams, departments & cultures with the ability to structure and coordinate different stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel globally (approx. 20%) including customer sites
