Leader Global Compensation, Benefits & HR Technology

This role is responsible for all Global compensation, benefits, and HR Technology programs and systems for the organization. This individual will set strategy to develop and maintain competitive base and incentive compensation structures (including stock and bonus programs) designed to attract and retain exceptional talent. The incumbent will also manage all benefit programs, maintaining existing programs and making recommendations for enhancements/additional programs tailored to our organization. This role is also responsible for overseeing the selection, implementation, and maintenance of all HR technology, including HRMS, and ensuring data integrity within the systems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and implement a total rewards philosophy and strategy and identify operational initiatives, processes, and plans necessary to achieve the strategy
  • Leads the compensation and benefits team in designing market competitive programs
  • Create a competitive base pay compensation structure and manage its communication to employees
  • Work with senior leadership to define the compensation philosophy for the organization
  • Perform competitive analysis and recommend annual stock and bonus targets, or potential modifications to existing programs
  • Lead all aspects of the annual performance rewards program
  • Selection and Management of benefits brokers to make recommendations on strategic benefits changes tailored to the organization; ensure benefits planning takes pending ACA regulations into account
  • Lead wellness and other initiatives designed to enhance the employee value proposition
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain effective employee recognition programs
  • Create presentations for senior leadership and Board of Directors on relevant compensation and benefits topics
  • Work with consultant on annual executive compensation review and draft of proxy CD&A
  • Conduct periodic internal equity reviews
  • Develop competitive variable and premium pay policies for the organization (i.e., shift differential, holiday pay, call-in pay, etc.
  • Select and implement Human Resources Management System(s) and other HR Technology, and ensure data accuracy and integrity

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or other HR related field
  • Requires 15+ years of applicable industry experience and 5 or more years of leadership experience
  • Expertise in executive compensation programs
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with senior leadership, managers, and employees
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with staff from other departments
  • Demonstrated experience and relevant expertise in the design and implementation of effective compensation and benefits programs, preferably in the biotechnology industry
