Global Controller

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, month-end close, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. The Financial Controller will also manage the annual financial statement audit and prepare financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Tax and Revenue Recognition.
• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and manage the annual financial statement audit, working closely with external auditors.
• Prepare and present financial statements to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting experience is a plus.
• International experience is required.
• Supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
