Global Compensation Manager

The Global Total Rewards Manager will be responsible for managing the global compensation and rewards program for Client Worldwide. They will plan, develop and implement new and revised total rewards programs, policies and procedures that are responsive to Client’s goals and competitive market practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring through audits, legal reports and personal interactions that our compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company philosophy, policies, market practices and government regulations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Advise senior leadership and global HR staff on compensation related issues, market trends and benchmark pay practices, and potential investment areas within compensation programs
  • Conduct market benchmarking analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of Client’s compensation programs and ensure Client’s pay practices drive performance at various levels and functions
  • Develop corporate compensation philosophy, policy and processes, and work with global HR staff to implement and execute these across all Client offices
  • Provide regular guidance on policy and inform interpretation, job evaluation, and job pricing decisions, including how to create creative solutions to ensure our ability to attract and retain top talent
  • Lead the annual compensation review process, managing the planning, processing and reporting on compensation-related actions (annual salary increases, promotions, and bonus and any other elements)
  • Prepare data and reports for periodic compensation reviews and approvals
  • Create dynamic and flexible salary and bonus forecast models to reflect expected market trends and business results
  • Support the annual budget planning process, working with the Chief Talent Officer to ensure all Talent programs are accurately planned for and included in the budget
  • Manage the annual compensation survey cycle
  • Create reporting and analytics on pay equity and pay fairness, including both annual analysis of compensation pay practices and real-time audits of compensation decisions
  • Assist in managing global brokers and relationships with outside experts in the areas of total rewards
  • Produce annual total compensation statements
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • Good understanding of the business to ensure that compensation and rewards support business objectives and enable the business to attract and retain talent
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration with other team members and leaders
  • Ability to provide expert advice and consultation services to a wide range of stakeholders, leaders, HR business partners, managers and staff
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate, analyze and present data and provide advice based on benchmarks
  • At least 5-7 years of HR experience, ideally in a global organization
  • Flexibility and ability to operate in dynamic and fast paced environment
