Job Description
Non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center is seeking to hire board eligible/certified Internal/Family/Geriatric Medicine Physicians to join their talented team in the North Austin, TX area to see ages 50+. Ideal candidates are mission-focused; flexible with their time, work locations, and have the ability to provide coverage while working within a group practice; highly energetic; creative in problem-solving approaches; quality focused; and see the provision of services to underserved populations as part of their career goals.
The organization serves the primary and behavioral health care needs of all individuals regardless of insurance status or ability to pay and annually, provides more than 355,000 visits to 94,000 unique patients.
- Providers see about 22-24 patients a day
- Our physicians provide medical care to the patient by providing personalized, comprehensive, out-patient primary care under the direction of the Medical Director.
- This position requires 40 hours of patient face time per week as well as 2 to 4 hours of administrative time.
- Must be comfortable with and able to perform PAPS and well women’s exams
