Company is seeking a Contract Geologist for a one year term. The Contract Geologist will be based in the Western US with frequent travel to Montana, Nevada and Utah. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of geological work from exploration, permitting, planning and reclamation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide geological support for Company’s lime and limestone operational sites.
• Supervise and conduct exploration and resource development work as required, to enhance Company’s mineral reserve portfolio
• Data collection, geological resource modelling, estimation and reporting.
• Promoting and providing safety leadership throughout all work activities and locations
• Working sustainably to support all community, environmental, social and regulatory objectives maintained by Company.

About you

• Five years in industrial minerals
• B.S. or higher degree in Geology, Geological or Mining Engineering, or related technical degree.
• Competent in the use of geological or GIS software – Surpac preferred.
