Drive Operational Excellence in Mineral Resource Development

A global industrial minerals producer is seeking a Geologist with 4–8 years of experience to join their team on a full-time, onsite basis. This role is located in Nevada, though the company operates across multiple sites, offering exposure to a range of geological environments and technical challenges.

As a key contributor to the Resource & Reserves team, you’ll play a critical role in developing, validating, and optimizing geological models that directly inform mine planning and operational strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineers, plant operations, and leadership to ensure sustainable and efficient resource utilization.

In this role, you will:

• Lead geological modelling and resource estimation activities using industry-standard software

• Oversee and interpret exploration drilling programs, core logging, and sample QA/QC

• Support the classification and reporting of mineral resources and reserves in compliance with international codes

• Partner with mine planning teams to integrate geological data into operational decision-making

• Contribute to the identification and evaluation of new resource opportunities

Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required)

• 4–8 years of applied geological experience in mining or industrial minerals

• Strong competency in geological modelling and resource estimation software (e.g., Leapfrog, Surpac)

• Proven fieldwork and core logging experience in active mining environments

• Familiarity with JORC, NI 43-101, or other resource reporting standards
