Geologist - CONFIDENTIAL
Drive Operational Excellence in Mineral Resource Development
A global industrial minerals producer is seeking a Geologist with 4–8 years of experience to join their team on a full-time, onsite basis. This role is located in Nevada, though the company operates across multiple sites, offering exposure to a range of geological environments and technical challenges.
As a key contributor to the Resource & Reserves team, you’ll play a critical role in developing, validating, and optimizing geological models that directly inform mine planning and operational strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineers, plant operations, and leadership to ensure sustainable and efficient resource utilization.
In this role, you will:

Lead geological modelling and resource estimation activities using industry-standard software

Oversee and interpret exploration drilling programs, core logging, and sample QA/QC

Support the classification and reporting of mineral resources and reserves in compliance with international codes

Partner with mine planning teams to integrate geological data into operational decision-making

Contribute to the identification and evaluation of new resource opportunities
Your background:

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required)

4–8 years of applied geological experience in mining or industrial minerals

Strong competency in geological modelling and resource estimation software (e.g., Leapfrog, Surpac)

Proven fieldwork and core logging experience in active mining environments

Familiarity with JORC, NI 43-101, or other resource reporting standards
