General Superintendent

Our client, a respected residential builder, is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee multiple home construction projects from start to finish. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for delivering superior-quality homes on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in residential construction management, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel at leading both people and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the simultaneous construction of 8–10 residential homes, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.

• Supervise and mentor field staff to boost productivity, quality, and project outcomes.

• Coordinate closely with subcontractors and trade partners to streamline scheduling and minimize delays.

• Implement and uphold rigorous quality control processes to reduce rework and warranty claims.

• Build and maintain strong client/homeowner relationships, ensuring clear communication and proactive issue resolution.

• Continuously seek improvements in construction processes to shorten build cycles and enhance efficiency.

• Lead the enforcement of safety standards and regulatory compliance across all job sites.

• Quickly identify and resolve project challenges to maintain momentum.

• Utilize construction management software to maintain detailed project records and reporting.

• Drive team performance and contribute to overall company growth and operational excellence.
