General Operations Manager - Equipment

The amenities of this City along with the abundance of lakes, forests, and wildlife make this an ideal location for the adventurer to escape when the workday is done!

Our independent client meets a niche - offering equipment to their light construction, agricultural, and lawn/turf & garden clients in the broad market surrounding the third-largest city in Saskatchewan. Their wide offering of products and services has contributed to their consistent, progressive increase in success.

This success is to your benefit! As General Operations Manager, you will be defined as a transformational leader. You will assume responsibility for the overall operational processes. Streamline the flow of the business between departments and oversee their loyal, secure staff. Basically, your prime role is everything BUT the Finance and Sales.

As a leader of People and Process, your success-focused profile includes:

  • Competency in retail business operations and systems - the day-to-day operations of a dealership
  • Understanding the financial inter-dependency between departments
  • Agricultural background
  • Policy and Procedure/Best Practices - experience streamlining process between departments
  • Inventory management – supply agreements
  • Post-secondary education that supports the business needs
  • Human Resource activities
  • Ability to work with people; internally and externally
  • Highly organized

Ultimately, you will learn everything related to the business; working within the current marketplace footprint to streamline activities. Tremendous growth means that processes need to be adapted to support the financial level of the company, preparing for further success.

The compensation offering is highly competitive with a base salary and potential variable income. Full benefits and matching RRSP is included.
